The second of the last three Black Swan Swansong fashion shows takes place today on the Black Swan sim at 2pm. The last one was incredible! Each designer went all out with their creations, which are must haves for your special wardrobes. Be sure to get there early, because it was almost full an hour before the show last time!

I’ve been approved to teach on the Teen Grid since March 31st, 2007. I’ve met a lot of wonderful teens that eventually turned 18. On that fateful day, their friend list is wiped and groups removed. They are then shipped off to the Main Grid, the adult world they’ve been sheltered from for years. They don’t know anyone, where to go, what to do, and soon, they just stop logging in.

From the Teen Grid, Arwyn Quandry is one of several teens that keeps a careful eye on content thieves, uploading pictures of theft to flickr so that Main Gridders can identify and report their stolen content for removal. While the Teen Grid is losing a great asset, we’re gaining one, which is why it’s essential that we make her feel welcome right from the start. To that extent, she has admitted that she has never snuck over to the Main Grid. A true MG virgin.

What do we do with virgins? We sacrifice them, of course. Come to Rouge on Saturday, August 1st, at 5pm SL time where we will take Arwyn’s (non-sexual) Main Grid virginity by showering her with gifts and friendship offers. We’ll also be celebrating her 18th birthday. Many thanks to our DJ for the night, Nexeus Fatale, and location host, Codebastard Redgrave. If you cannot attend and would still like to give her a gift, she will not be arriving on the grid until after 8am SL time. You can also drop a transfer gift to moo Money, who will ensure that it gets to Arwyn safely.

The Fusion Sims, Fusion, Fusion Crossing, and Fusion Grove, are officially opening this weekend. What is Fusion? It’s a hot new shopping district with some of the best designers all in one spot!

There will be a Blogger Pre-Party today at 4pm PST/SL time to pick up the exclusive Hunt Prizes before the Dog Days of Summer hunt kicks off from August 1st to 8th. There’s also a photo contest going on if you’re interested.

• Nexeus Friday @ Club Fusion – Friday, July 31 – 8:00-10:00pm SLT DJ Nexeus Fatale puts his own funky spin on house music, hip-hop and electronic music that will have you burning up the dance floor.
• Industrial Dreams @ Club Fusion – Saturday, August 1 – 7:00-10:00pm SLT DJ Dream Resistance brings her edgy, industrial style to Club Fusion every Saturday. You don’t want to miss this interactive and energetic dance party!
• Weekend Wrap Up @ Club Fusion – Sunday, August 2 – 2:00-4:00pm SLT DJ Dilly Dawes takes your requests each and every Sunday at Club Fusion. Dance with friends while you recap the weekend’s happenings. The perfect weekend wind down.

It’s the weekend again, almost a brand new month, and payday is tomorrow, so you know we’re gonna get our shop on!

• Mashooka Designs: The Western section of the store has items marked down from 25-75% until August 2nd!

• Pout Clothing:  From August 1st to 8th, if you spend over 1000L in the store, you get a free outfit! Full details are on IHeartSL.
• Otaku Designs (1) (2) (3): Apparently Lola79 Hienrichs forgot to mark her pricing back up at one of her stores, which inspired her to mark down some items in her other stores. What’s marked down? I don’t know! Items are going for between 1 and 50L, though. It will apparently end when she is fully moved in to her main store sometime in Mid-August.
• Wetherby’s: This sale kind of confuses me. The notecard arrived with some serious attitude. Apparently “Mrs. Wetherby” will be moving to a new store over the weekend, and as a result, has marked her items down by 50%. There is a big, however, though. It’s my understanding that she will be moving merchandise over to the new store one by one, starting on the first floor and working her way up, and as that happens, it will no longer be discounted at the new store (or the old)? Can someone explain this to me? She would also like you to know that if she forgot to mark something down, don’t IM her. If you need her help? Don’t IM her. I tinypasted the notecard for you to interpret yourself.

Who: Accessories by Eolande What: A double reward points offer for her reward system Where: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ohana%20Isle/212/40/22 When: July 30th until August 6th Why: I have to say that this reward system is pretty amazing. For each 25L spent, you normally get 1 reward point. When you accrue a certain amount of points, you can redeem them for exclusive rewards. However, she’s doubled the reward points on bunches of in-store items such as jewelry and hair accessories. That means that you get 2 points for every 25L spent!

Who: Chai Skins What: A retirement sale of the Double Shot skins. All of them are 199L until the new ones are released. Where: Port Obscura When: July 29th up to an undetermined date. Why: Launa Fauna has been making skins for years, each time evolving her look one step further. The Double Shot skins came out about 8 months ago, so she’s had time to revise them to her liking. Following a recent beta testing period, Launa went back to the drawing board on her new skins, allowing us to benefit by being able to nab her old ones for cheap!

You know what this also means? She must be really close to releasing her new line. Are you guys excited yet?

Who: The Tableau Society for Well Being What: Bubbles Botox Bonanza Where: Tableau Quad When: July 28th to an undetermined date in the future. Why: The Tableau crew is so kind to their tenants. When Toast Bard wanted a sex change, they held a fundraiser for her. No word has been received on whether the goal was met or the operation happened, but the important thing is that they were there for her … or him.

Now I’m hearing word of a new dire situation amongst the residents. Bubbles Clawtooth is in desperate need of Botox. The amazing designers of Tableau have put together some exclusive items that will be out for an undetermined time, so help do your part. Think of Bubbles!

Oh! Did I mention there’s free Botox in it for you?
